| The air was palpable with excitement. The large group of teens that were surrounding the stage were restless and filled with joy. Screams of happiness and joy could be heard in waves as Brandon Kennedy, son of Music Director, Susanne Kennedy, would pass the live video camera over a portion of the crowd. All at once the entire crowd erupted into cheer as the door behind the alter opened and the band came through to play. Christian Rock artist, Matt Maher, performed at St. John's late last month. More than 700 were in attendance for the performance from all over San Diego county. Also in attendance were pastors and priests from other congregations around the county . This is the first of hopefully many big name concerts here at St. John's. Susanne Kennedy always has something in the works for upcoming musical performances.
